In the campaign
- In Session 15, during the Battle for Brackenford, struck the last blow against the forest chain of the chained oak. The shockwave from the forest stone pushed everyone back 10 feet. Edward took the brunt and was incinerated to blue dust.

- In Session 20, in the blood-rune room of Brackenford manor, Cisco passed Elijah the goop of the soldier who had turned into a ghost and died — Edward’s remains, kept in a vial. Elijah poured it into the bowl. The goop boiled and smoked, and the smoke took the form of the soldier — mouth open in a silent agonizing scream. The smell of burnt flesh.
- That moment is the literal payoff of Alric’s prophecy: the first to fall, the first to rise.
