General-store guy in Brackenford. General homie. Sold Cisco a shirt once. Has a secret stash of magical items for certain special clients.

There is something deeply sketchy going on in his cellar.

Stock he’s shown the party

  • A creepy candle with many animated faces — useful as a distraction
  • An instrument that grants water breathing or water walk once per day
  • A tunic granting +1d4 charisma checks (Cisco bought this in Session 04)
  • Mermaid-tail trousers (in water, BA to turn legs to fishtail; Cisco hates these)
  • A silk tablecloth that sets up as a portable table
  • A planchette ouija-board piece — speak to a single dead person for one minute
  • The expandable tent (acquired by the party in Session 13)
  • A mimic that turns into whatever shape Lyle commands it to (used as a key in Session 13)

In the campaign

  • Reluctantly excluded from the town council in Session 22 at Cisco’s insistence.
  • Cisco tried to scam him with Distort Value on the opal ring in Session 12 — Lyle pulled out a seeing glass right as Cisco dropped the spell, exposed the ring as worthless. Settled for a non-scam trade.
  • Took the Forest Hag-tinged necklace in Session 13 in trade for the tent and ran for the cellar. Came back evasive.
  • Refused to take Stormeye’s sentient eye in Session 28 — said it was far too dangerous and to “be its friend.”
