A carpenters’ guildhall in Greyhaven founded by dwarves, now also accepting humans and half-elf apprentices. Adrik’s base of operations.
Layout
- Set on a major shipping canal.
- 3-story timber and stone construction.
- First floor has the massive communal workshop.
- First floor also has a communal dining hall.
- Second and third floors have communal rooms for guild members.
- Adrik’s room (in the upper floors) — sparsely furnished, “literally nothing but a single sheet on the ground” with various rags and clothes; a lot of space.
Notable people
- Adrik — dwarf of some import here, party member as of Session 30.
- Thrain — guildmaster.
In the campaign
- Adrik brought the party here at the end of Session 30 after defusing the beggar situation in the workman district.
- In Session 31 the guildhall was the staging ground for: Lorien showing Adrik the Heart, the bad-lumber inspection that surfaced the Drogon situation, the appearance of Vaughn the Deputy Surveyor, and Thrain writing Drogon Grudge in his black book.
- Staging ground again in Session 32 for the Warehouse 17 job — Thrain laid out the contract here, and Adrik introduced the party to guild members over food and rest before they headed out. Adrik brewed the ale.
- In Session 33 the party stumbled back here in the deep of night after the warehouse job (Thrain should never be woken while sleeping); in the morning, Adrik walked Thrain through the fraud findings in his room.
- Evening regroup point in Session 35 after the party’s split threads — Lorien arrived last, and Adrik said the party was welcome to stay as long as the Brotherhood could keep them safe.
- In Session 36, Adrik stayed behind at the guildhall during the evening tannery errand to give credence to plausible deniability — if anyone asked, he didn’t know what Elijah was up to. The party returned to rest here before the late-night return to Warehouse 17.
- Session 38 — compromised: Adrik spotted watchers posted around the guildhall and a high-quality bounty notice for Elijah on the board. Reported in to Thrain before heading to the Collegium to warn the rest of the party to stay clear.
