Captain of the Harrow’s Wake. Has (or had) a magical prosthetic eye of great value — sentient, currently traveling in Cisco’s pack.
The guy who started this whole affair: he had a locked chest with a beating heart in it that granted power, but at what cost?
In the campaign
- Found in Session 01 after the shark attack — did not fight in it. Has a mystery chest thumping rhythmically.
- Reveals in Session 02 that the chest contains a heart taken from a hag with promises of prosperity for Brackenford — heart gives power of the sea (good winds, fish harvests) but exerts control over people.
- Cisco notices his prosthetic eye pulses with arcane magic and is worth a lot to the right buyer.
- Went missing — the Harrow’s Wake never returned to Brackenford as it was supposed to.
- Reappeared in Session 26 as a thrall of the Sea Hag, summoning the rest of the Harrow’s Wake to fight the party.
- Ended up trapped in Lady Serenna’s skull-contraption in Session 27 when Ruasar goaded him into reaching into it.
- His prosthetic eye popped itself out of his socket in Session 28 and went into Cisco’s pack. Cisco eventually returned it to Stormeye after Lyle refused to take it.
- In Session 29, Cisco floated using the eye to enter the trap and free him. The party entered the cabin and found Stormeye already had the eye in his head — plan dead on arrival. He closed the door and the party left. As the party rolled out of Brackenford, Stormeye was visible in the distance — they swore they saw something wave at them out of the corner of his eye.
