In the campaign
- Originally gave Captain Stormeye the heart with promises of prosperity for Brackenford in exchange for a steady stream of souls.
- Possessed a giant octopus in Session 03 to threaten the party after they destroyed her crystal in the cave. Offered them freedom in exchange for six willing souls. Forced them onto kelpies and dropped them in Brackenford.
- Reappeared as a vision in Session 07 inside the Forest Hag’s lair — offered the party a level-up to fight the Forest Hag in exchange for binding themselves further to her contract. Tried to upsell with the Soul Hag’s necklace. Party declined.
- Killed in Session 27. Yort Li used Inflict Wounds with inspiration for a nat-20-turned-8d10, 53 damage. Lorien Painbearer finished her with a divine smite.
- “When one hag dies, others will rise” — recurring threat across the campaign.
Effects on the party
- Drew the party’s souls toward her — sensed strongly approaching her lair in Session 23.
- Spawned a doppelganger of Lorien Painbearer mid-fight in Session 27 (didn’t have time to act before she died).
