Arcane caster. Witch bolt user. Trapped his own head in Lady Serenna’s skull-contraption in Session 18 — speaks like a Dark Souls mimic now.

Full name (per the letter signed in Session 13): Quasar Ivaenodel.

Stepped back from the party in Session 30 to resume his arcane studies under his old master Kevin at the Collegium of Ordered Aether in Greyhaven.

In the campaign

  • Touched the forest stone at the chained oak in Session 04 and got a vision of the forest closing in. Refused the deal offered by the vines.
  • Touched the soul stone in Session 05, which led to investigating the warehouse and the soul batteries.
  • Found and pocketed a dagger with the forest-hag rune at the abandoned mill in Session 07.
  • After Brackenford was attacked in the night, came under the Forest Hag’s necklace’s influence and beat Jeffrey IV to death with his quarterstaff in Session 10. Doesn’t fully accept what he did.
  • Tied to a table for ~16 hours in Session 11 while the party broke the soul-hag’s necklace.
  • Trapped his head in the skull-contraption willingly in Session 18 to free Lady Serenna’s soul. Survived a DC-cast Dex save with a nat 20.
  • Copied a hag’s blood rune in Session 21 — the ink turned to blood and the book sealed itself.
  • Revealed in Session 30 that he was traveling to Greyhaven to study under his old master Kevin at the Collegium of Ordered Aether. His existing academy paperwork was the foundation for Cisco’s gate forgery — the rest of the party was added in as guards/companions under Ruasar’s employ.
  • At the gate, stepped up first with the docs and stumbled through the clerk’s questions. Made it through with the Alric-endorsement bluff.
  • Said goodbye at Marbel Kest’s ledger office in Session 30 and headed north to the tallest tower (the Collegium). Said to say hi sometime.

Equipment

  • Quarterstaff
  • The blood-sealed notebook (Session 21)
  • The forest-rune dagger (Session 07)
