A coastal cave in a ravine, accessed past a single weathered watchtower. Where the trouble began and where the Sea Hag made her last stand.
Layout
- Cave mouth — smells like rot. Bodies of Harrow’s Wake crew (including Silas the Rat) found hung at the entrance in Session 23, salt-water-bagged thralls.
- Front cavern — full of zombie thralls (formerly Darla Concade and others) in Session 24.
- A water section housing a giant tentacled sea creature, killed by Yort Li in Session 25.
- Inner cave — an island in the middle of an underground lake, with a giant crystal that channels the Sea Hag’s power. Destroyed in Session 03 by Yort Li’s acid; regrew larger by Session 25; destroyed for real in Session 25 when Ruasar hit a wine-soaked section with his quarterstaff.
- Roof of the inner cave: a forest of stalactites high above.
- Adjoining chamber — the Sea Hag’s personal lair, where she emerged from the water in Session 26.
Visited in
- Session 02 / Session 03 — first incursion, crystal first destroyed.
- Session 23 — return after killing the Forest Hag and Lord Alric.
- Session 24 / Session 25 / Session 26 / Session 27 — all-out assault.
- Session 28 — exit. The cave’s grip on the tides loosened and the Harrow’s Wake rose out of the ocean.
